Responsible for contractor accreditation assessments against health and safety standards. Evaluate applications, provide guidance to contractors, and ensure compliance with SafeContractor processes. Requires field experience in occupational health and safety with strong communication skills.
Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety required
3+ years experience in an occupational health and safety role
Experience assessing safety management systems and compliance standards
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics
Complete assessments of contractor applications and supporting documentation
Assist contractors in achieving accreditation through guidance and support
Receive capture and record contractor information per evidence handling procedures
Communicate with contractors via telephone and email to build professional relationships
Undertake scheduled follow-up calls and maintain reasonable contact as required
Process accurate and timely assessments to meet quarterly quality metrics
Collate information necessary to produce management information reports
Operate and comply with all SafeContractor processes and procedures
