About this role
Own end-to-end SEC external financial reporting at GitLab, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q. Drive reporting calendar, coordinate across Accounting, Legal, FP&A, and Investor Relations, and improve disclosure quality and processes. Remote role based in Canada.
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA licensure or active pursuit preferred
Experience owning SEC reporting deliverables including Forms 10-K and 10-Q
Record of improving disclosures and reporting processes
Strong project management skills with ability to drive accountability across teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex accounting guidance
Clear written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholder experience
Proficiency with Workiva Wdesk and NetSuite preferred

Responsibilities
Own preparation, review, and filing of SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and S-1
Build and drive quarterly and annual reporting calendar with cross-functional coordination
Lead earnings release process including management reporting package and script review
Own disclosure checklist and XBRL review process
Improve SEC reporting process through automation and standardization
Prepare or review journal entries, reconciliations, equity rollforward, and EPS calculations
Ensure compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP reporting requirements
Maintain SOX requirements and lead special projects
