Lead AI Architect defining the technical vision for AI-powered Go-To-Market systems at Samsara. You'll architect and prototype agentic AI solutions spanning low-code automation platforms and custom LLM pipelines, setting standards for a 10+ person GTM engineering organization. This senior IC role requires hands-on expertise with LangGraph, LangChain, and AWS Bedrock to build enterprise-grade, human-in-the-loop AI systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade backend systems
Minimum 3 years of Technical Lead experience
Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI agents used by real end users
Hands-on proficiency with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex
Experience designing and implementing RAG systems including vector databases and embedding pipelines
Strong backend engineering fundamentals in Python and/or Node.js with async and event-driven patterns
AWS experience with Bedrock, Lambda/serverless, SQS/SNS/EventBridge or equivalent cloud-native infrastructure
Strong communication skills to work directly with non-technical business stakeholders
Define and own the technical vision for AI-powered GTM systems covering low-code automation and custom agentic AI builds
Create reference architectures, design patterns, and decision frameworks guiding the GTM engineering team
Lead architectural design for highest-complexity GTM systems including multi-system integrations and enterprise-scale agentic workflows
Drive evaluation, selection, and adoption of emerging AI tools, frameworks, and platforms
Serve as technical authority on LLM orchestration including prompt safety, RAG, model context management, and multi-agent coordination
Own integration architecture strategy defining patterns, APIs, event contracts, and data models across GTM systems
Champion scalable low-code-first strategy with governance model and operational standards for non-engineer automations
Partner with VP-level GTM stakeholders to translate strategic business goals into concrete architectural roadmaps
Conduct architecture reviews providing structured feedback and identifying systemic risks
Produce internal thought leadership including white papers, ADRs, and engineering wikis
Senior individual contributor role with organization-wide scope at recently public company
