About this role

Senior AWS Solutions Architect role at OpsGuru, a Carbon60 company, designing and optimizing cloud-native solutions for enterprise clients. You'll architect serverless and containerized AWS infrastructure, lead modernization initiatives, and serve as a trusted technical advisor in an agile, remote-first environment.

Must have

5+ years of experience in public cloud environments with AWS preferred

Client-facing experience including requirements gathering and solution advisory

Strong expertise in AWS Serverless architectures including Lambda and API Gateway

Hands-on experience with migrations and application modernization

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Python and Bash

Practical knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies including EKS and ECS

Solid understanding of AWS security networking fundamentals and cloud governance

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform CloudFormation and AWS CDK

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in consultancy settings

Responsibilities

Architect design and implement highly available scalable and resilient AWS solutions using Serverless Frameworks

Leverage modern AI tools and services to rapidly develop validate and implement Proofs of Concept

Lead migration and modernization initiatives transforming legacy workloads to cloud-native architectures

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines implement automation scripts and champion DevOps best practices

Design containerized applications and manage orchestration using EKS and ECS

Ensure cloud security best practices are embedded across architecture designs including IAM and VPCs

Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK

Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles

Work within agile teams to deliver client outcomes iteratively and incrementally
