About this role

Trusted cybersecurity advisor designing Network/SASE/OT security solutions for enterprise clients. Combines advanced business and security practitioner knowledge to deliver scalable, defensible security programs aligned with client initiatives. Drives sales opportunities and thought leadership across Optiv's technology and services portfolio.

Must have

BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience

Minimum five years in an information security role

Experience as consulting advisor, architect, or engineer focused on Network/SASE/OT

Strong business and technical acumen

Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail for reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables

Vendor specific certification(s) focused primarily on specialty

CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications

Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events

Previous experience leading an information security function or program

Ability to hold a government sponsored Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Actively participate in Field Center of Excellence and position Optiv services and key Network/SASE/OT technology partners

Maintain advanced knowledge of client's security environment, business operations, and risk appetite

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across clients and partner relationships

Clearly articulate how Optiv technology and services portfolio meets client stakeholder needs

Drive generation of services and technologies business to meet quarterly and annual quota objectives

Stay abreast of industry trends and maintain broad understanding of security landscape

Collaborate with service delivery to ensure consistent and comprehensive domain specialty materials

Work with multiple client personas to develop security strategy and define roadmaps

Maintain advisory relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate thought leadership

Identify and drive complete security programs including requirements gathering and technology selection

Interface with internal teams to align client expectations with Optiv solution portfolio

Identify new and emerging technologies for internal enablement and client exposure

Promote Optiv portfolio and security awareness at speaking events and via social media

Listen for client feedback and share with internal teams for continuous improvement

Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management activities

Manage and prioritize proposal process for business proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses

Pursue personal development through formal education, certification, and other avenues

Advance sales techniques including overcoming objections and assisting in finalization of sale
