About this role

Support faculty development across Yorkville University and Toronto Film School through programming, consultations, and resources that strengthen teaching practices. Focus on new faculty onboarding and Nursing/Health Sciences programming growth.

Must have

Master's degree in a relevant field

FDW Certificate through ISW Network completed

Experience facilitating Instructional Skills Workshops

Experience in educational development and faculty support

Higher education teaching experience

Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technologies

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook Teams SharePoint and OneNote

Responsibilities

Plan develop facilitate and evaluate faculty development workshops webinars courses and programs

Consult with faculty and instructional teams on pedagogy digital teaching and assessment

Lead new faculty onboarding through Ready-to-Teach program

Support Nursing and Health Sciences programming growth and adaptation

Collaborate with Senior Educational Developers Educational Technologists and academic teams

Stay current with higher education research and translate into practical faculty resources

Contribute to strategic initiatives and campus-wide teaching excellence conversations

Periodic multi-day travel to campuses in Ontario New Brunswick and British Columbia
