Moonshot is hiring an Intelligence Analyst for their threat monitoring team to conduct OSINT investigations, develop risk assessments, and produce actionable intelligence on online threats. This remote role requires experience in intelligence analysis or OSINT investigations within government, law enforcement, or corporate security settings.
Professional experience conducting OSINT investigations or intelligence analysis in government, law enforcement, or corporate security settings
Strong OSINT skills and social media investigation experience with ability to work independently through large datasets
Demonstrated understanding of the intelligence cycle including requirements, collection planning, and analysis production
Sound judgment on threat credibility assessing risk based on intent and capability
Ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities across multiple accounts
Strong problem solving skills working through ambiguous or incomplete information
Strong written communication skills translating findings into clear actionable outputs
Track record of producing investigative or intelligence products for stakeholders
Comfortable regularly reviewing sensitive and potentially distressing content
Strong collaborator able to work well within a team and build trust with colleagues and clients
Ready to work independently day to day rather than overseeing a team or full client portfolio
Willingness to occasionally be on call and work outside regular hours for urgent needs
Eligible to work in Canada and able to pass standard background check and security clearance procedures
Conduct daily monitoring and OSINT investigations into online harms including impersonation, stalking, NCII, deepfakes, doxxing, and threat attribution
Lead development of risk assessments and threat classifications ensuring precise evidence-based judgments relevant to client needs
Distill large volumes of social media and open source data into clear actionable analysis
Develop reports and briefings tailored to client requirements
Escalate high priority threats promptly supporting communication with platform trust and safety contacts, legal teams, and law enforcement partners
Manage demanding reporting schedule across multiple concurrent accounts balancing time, scope, and quality
Contribute to evolution of investigative methodology and tools
Remote position based in Ontario, Canada due to employment and regulatory requirements
Experience using AI tools to support research or writing workflows is desirable
