About this role
Build and ship Tango's first AI-powered product, turning generative AI and machine learning advances into production-ready capabilities for real estate technology. You'll design AI agents on LangGraph, establish engineering standards, and tackle complex data-rich workflows across corporate real estate and workplace management.
Must have
7+ years professional software engineering experience
2+ years building LLM-powered systems in production
Strong Python expertise with FastAPI and Pydantic
Production experience with agent orchestration framework
Hands-on depth with at least one frontier model API
Experience with LLM evaluation and regression testing
Experience with MCP tool servers and multi-agent patterns
Production RAG and retrieval experience
Experience with LLM observability and tracing tools

Responsibilities
Design and ship production AI agents on LangGraph
Own agents end to end including graph design and tool definitions
Build agent tooling against internal systems over MCP
Deliver human-in-the-loop review flows with interrupt points
Build and tune retrieval with chunking and hybrid retrieval
Contribute evaluations with golden datasets and regression suites
Diagnose quality failures to root cause and correct appropriate layer
Own agent-level safety behavior and prompt-injection resistance
Partner with Product to translate accuracy thresholds into shipped behavior
Work with Platform Engineering on deployment
Feed agent session analytics into warehouse for measurable performance
Transition reference agents to domain teams for long-term operation
