About this role
Build internal products powering threat intelligence and detection authoring at petabyte scale. Design systems that enhance existing detections and unlock new capabilities, working with data scientists, security researchers, and SOC analysts in a collaborative R&D team.
Must have
Proficient with at least one major cloud platform and its native data and compute services
Familiar with streaming frameworks like Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, or Flink
Experience designing and shipping production-grade RESTful or gRPC APIs
Skilled at scaling stateless and stateful services under production load
Comfortable deploying and operating services in containerized environments such as Kubernetes
Grounded in security best practices and standards
Hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on cloud-based platforms

Responsibilities
Consistent and active participation in team development activities including daily scrums and retrospectives
Supports the on-call rotation and unblocks other developers
Sets standards for maintainable code practices and continuously improves them
Completes complex programming tasks and owns architecture and high-level design meetings
Reviews peers' code and provides detailed feedback
Takes ownership of cross-functional dependencies and aligns with other teams
Coaches through pairing, code examples, and knowledge share sessions
Mentors junior team members and helps grow the team
Identifies and addresses technical debt and system bottlenecks
Designs and delivers Proofs of Concept for high-impact projects
Leads high-impact cross-functional initiatives and provides strategic direction
Works across multiple repositories and teams with multiple stakeholders
