About this role
Senior backend .NET developer role focused on architecting and building scalable, secure enterprise systems for digital banking platforms. Work with modern .NET, Azure cloud services, and microservices in a 100% remote position serving Canadian fintech clients.
Must have
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
5+ years professional software development with C# and .NET
3+ years building APIs with .NET 6/7/8 and Core Web API
Experience with digital banking platforms like Forge, Plumery, VeriPark, Temenos, or Backbase
Good understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID, and microservices patterns
Proficiency with Azure cloud services including App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault
Experience designing RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI
Hands-on familiarity with AutoMapper, System.Text.Json, xUnit, and Moq
Knowledge of JWT/OAuth2, Azure AD, and secure role-based API development
Experience with Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Agile Methodology such as Scrum and Kanban
Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL, Postgres, or MS-SQL Server
