About this role
Build highly scalable, secure distributed systems for Chainlink's Data Feeds and oracle infrastructure. Work with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and cutting-edge cryptography to power decentralized finance across multiple chains.
Must have
At least 7-10+ years of professional software engineering experience in a collaborative product-driven environment
Experience in blockchain and other Web 3.0 technologies
Experience developing smart contracts that secured meaningful value on-chain
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and systems design concepts
Experience owning multi-month long projects with direct stakeholder communication
Experience building distributed systems and low-latency systems
B.S. or higher in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or related technical field

Responsibilities
Design and implement new features within the Data Product space including trust-minimized off-chain computation
Design and own end-to-end delivery of data products powering the largest DeFi market share by TVS
Learn and work with blockchain ecosystems including Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Ethereum
Build core products with Smart Contracts using Solidity, Move, and Rust
Partner with the research team to build cutting-edge products
Model attack vectors, failures, and disaster scenarios in reproducible test environments
Manage architectural vision for new subsystems in the core Chainlink node
Implement resilient distributed systems for extremely high reliability across blockchain environments
