About this role

Deploy and support retirement and benefits solutions for TELUS Health's growing client base. Build and configure server environments, manage application deployments, and provide technical support across cloud and on-premise infrastructures using Microsoft technologies.

Must have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

3 to 5 plus years of infrastructure and systems administration experience

Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012-2019 installation configuration and management

Strong SQL Server management skills including T-SQL and SSRS

Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting with practical VBScript CMD and SQL scripting experience

Experience with Active Directory or LDAP in domain environments

Knowledge of N-Tier applications using IIS web frontend .NET services and SQL Server backend

Working experience with Microsoft Azure Storage ASG VMs and Azure DB

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple assignments

Responsibilities

Build and configure shared and client-specific environments including production non-production and disaster recovery systems

Perform server installations configurations deployments and OS upgrades using Microsoft technologies

Execute SQL Server tasks including database backup restore user permissions management and T-SQL script deployment

Handle user and group creation delegation and domain environment administration in Active Directory

Lead server and application migrations ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance

Develop PowerShell scripts and system reports using SQL Report Builder to streamline operations

Triage analyze and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues across applications on various platforms

Provide technical guidance and support to client IT teams including after-hours support during critical releases

Create and maintain technical documentation service catalogs and ensure security and performance standards
