Join Pinnacle Fund Services' Risk & Compliance Team to execute internal audit testing, assess controls, and strengthen operational effectiveness for hedge fund and private equity clients. This mid-level role involves SOC and AML audits, policy governance, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, growing financial services environment.
Must have
Accounting designation or progress toward CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent preferred
3+ years experience in internal audit, external audit, controls testing, compliance, or risk management
Experience executing audit procedures and documenting workpapers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities
Execute assigned internal audit testing in line with approved procedures and documentation standards
Support preparation of internal audit planning materials including risk considerations and testing scope
Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities across testing activities
Prepare audit summaries, status updates, and reporting materials for management review
Follow up on agreed remediation actions and track management responses through completion
Support annual SOC audit process by coordinating evidence requests and maintaining documentation
Perform annual AML audit plan including scope, testing approach, documentation, and final reporting
Assist with development, review, and maintenance of policies and procedures
Support policy governance activities including version control and approval tracking
Assist with training program by identifying gaps and supporting content updates
