About this role
Lead public cloud infrastructure practice at OpsGuru, a Carbon60 company, providing deep technical and business expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Guide enterprise customers through cloud adoption, data enablement, and AI-driven automation while potentially managing a team of 5 architects and engineers.
Must have
10+ years of experience in a relevant information technology environment
5+ years delivering professional services as a Principal Consultant or equivalent leadership role
Experience with public cloud infrastructure adoption and migration across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Experience with data platform and analytics infrastructure on public cloud
Experience with microservices adoption on public cloud including AKS and Azure Container Apps
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
Demonstrated experience using AI tools and LLMs to streamline workflows and automate tasks
History of delivering presentations to CxO and VP level executives
History of managing multiple complex projects with various stakeholders simultaneously
Sales experience preferably in a pre-sales function
Experience with Identity Management and Active Directory
Experience leading technical teams

Report directly to OpsGuru Leadership
Discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle from CEO to developer across multiple domains
Identify and implement AI opportunities to streamline infrastructure delivery and consultancy processes
Serve as trusted technical advisor in public cloud infrastructure and data enablement for assigned accounts
Provide thought leadership in cloud infrastructure
Guide and challenge clients respectfully to maximize value from technology investments
Provide oversight to project teams ensuring technical outcomes align with business problems within budgets and timelines
Work with Engagement Managers to manage project scope and expectations
Participate in sales process in pre-sales capacity
Scope and support statements of work alongside Account Executives and Presales Architects
Act as people manager for team of approximately 5 Architects and Engineers
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and professional development conversations
Escalate administrative and project-related issues and provide performance review recommendations
