8+ years relevant professional experience in software, SaaS, or technical product environments
5+ years hands-on experience in privacy operations, compliance program management, GRC, or similar function
Experience coordinating cross-functional programs across legal, engineering, product, and operations teams
Experience supporting vendor, tool, or subprocessor reviews with privacy and security risk considerations
Experience with GDPR, EU privacy requirements, DSARs, data inventories, and records of processing
Technical fluency to understand data flows through cloud services, vendor tools, and support systems
Familiarity with incident response, breach readiness, or security and privacy escalation processes
Strong project management skills and ability to build pragmatic processes for a growing organization
Ability to learn and responsibly use emerging technologies including AI-enabled tools
Coordinate MZLA's privacy and compliance program work including planning, reviews, risk tracking, and leadership reporting
Translate privacy, security, and compliance requirements into practical processes
Coordinate vendor and tool reviews with legal, engineering, product, and other stakeholders
Document data flows, subprocessors, and privacy, security, and operational considerations
Support privacy operations and data governance including DSAR and privacy-rights workflows
Develop and maintain data inventories, records of processing, retention practices, and privacy documentation
Partner with technical teams to support privacy-by-design practices for new products and services
Support compliance and audit-readiness efforts including ISO-related readiness and evidence tracking
Strengthen incident response readiness by clarifying roles, escalation paths, and coordination needs
Build lightweight guidance, checklists, templates, and training materials for teams
Role requires regular overlap with Eastern Time working hours for meetings and coordination
