About this role
WME is building next-generation internal platforms for the entertainment industry. You'll build scalable web apps and APIs using React, TypeScript, and Node.js, while contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring team members in a fast-growing engineering organization.
Must have
Solid software engineering experience, typically 5+ years
Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications
Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Backend experience with Node.js, building services and APIs
Experience designing and working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure preferred)
Familiarity with containerized workloads using Docker
Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts; experience with Terraform a plus
Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines
Strong product instincts and collaborative mindset
Comfortable working in environments where systems and processes are still evolving

Design and build scalable web applications and APIs using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Develop and maintain Node.js backend with REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs
Contribute to architectural decisions across frontend and backend systems
Partner closely with product managers and designers to deliver thoughtful solutions
Translate operational needs into practical technical solutions
Participate in and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
Support and mentor new career engineers on the team
