Bilingual (English & French) Specialist supporting mortgage quality review to verify vendor underwriting practices following BMO's requirements. 2-year contract role with focus on residential mortgage underwriting quality assurance.
Must have
3-5 years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination
Underwriting experience of residential mortgages highly preferred
Bilingual in English and French required
Verbal and written communication skills in English and French
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
Execute work and audit files for timely accurate service delivery
Ensure consistent high-quality practices aligned with business strategies
Analyze root causes of underwriting errors for communication and coaching
Provide ongoing support to continuous improvement process
Think creatively and propose new solutions
Exercise judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems
Work mostly independently
