Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical discipline
5+ years of engineering or technical experience
Membership or eligibility for provincial Professional Engineering Association
Canadian citizen or permanent resident able to obtain RCMP security clearance
Experience in radio communication systems and RF propagation
IP networking knowledge including Ethernet TCP/IP L2/L3 MPLS
Network certifications such as CompTIA Network+ CCNA or equivalent highly desirable
Experience with Juniper Cisco Nokia or similar networking equipment highly desirable
Ability to present confidently to internal and external customers
Design and implement radio networks including infrastructure subscribers and mobile backhaul
Deliver customer presentations on system design and capabilities
Perform system staging and acceptance testing
Conduct RF prediction testing and interference mitigation
Manage RF spectrum licensing through ISED
Prepare system fleet-maps and radio programming templates
Complete system documentation for deployed solutions
Execute live system upgrades with minimal service disruption
Oversee all technical aspects of assigned projects from award to acceptance
Remote position with 25-50% travel required across project phases
Candidates must reside in Ontario or Quebec Canada
