Must have

3+ years managing engineers at a SaaS company, ideally early-to-mid-stage

Track record of driving execution with concrete delivery outcomes and ownership

Strong technical background with ability to participate in architecture and design reviews

Comfort operating with high autonomy and little prescribed structure

Demonstrated AI-native leadership bringing AI-first practices to team building

Experience building high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative teams

Clear, concise, and direct communication skills verbal and written

Responsibilities

Lead squad to deliver customer value by owning projects end to end from planning through delivery and follow-through

Drive execution by setting milestones and shipping in small observable increments

Make confident decisions when path is not obvious and lead team through them

Set operating rhythm that helps team move fastest rather than defaulting to ceremony

Ensure squad solutions are scalable architecturally sound flexible and secure with strong practices

Stay close to work through design reviews architecture calls and incidents

Provide direct timely and specific coaching and create development opportunities for direct reports

Hire onboard and manage performance so right people are in place to hit squad goals

Bring AI-native perspective to accelerate team velocity and help prototype faster and ship smarter

Partner across engineering and departments to align efforts with customer success
