Clariti's first Forward Deployed Engineer will define the role and playbook for engineering-led customer implementations. You'll own technical onboarding end-to-end for government customers, from legacy data migration to product configuration, while building reusable tooling and feeding product improvements back to the engineering team.
5+ years as a software engineer with 2+ years in customer-facing deployment role
Strong understanding of LLMs and agentic automations
Strong SQL and data-migration experience with legacy schemas
Strong TypeScript skills and comfort with Python for tooling
Integration experience with SSO, REST, webhooks, GIS, and payments
Comfort presenting to non-technical government customers
Judgment to balance bespoke solutions versus repeatable tooling
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
Triage requirements into configurations, new functionality, or custom code
Work with platform team to define new functionalities for go-live readiness
Own technical customer onboarding end to end including data extraction and migration
Translate jurisdiction operations into product configuration and workflows
Write migration transformations and integration adapters for GIS, payments, and SSO
Run point with customer technical stakeholders including IT directors and GIS teams
Channel field feedback into specs for tooling and product capabilities
Build the FDE playbook including runbooks, templates, and estimation models
Use AI coding agents as first-class part of implementation work
