Lead Art Director at Valtech responsible for creating compelling visual design concepts, campaigns, and digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms. Requires 8+ years of experience with expertise in art direction, UI design, and AI-enabled design workflows using Figma.
Must have
7+ years of experience in leading agency, consultancy, or studio environment
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, art direction, and conceptual thinking
Deep expertise in visual design, UI design, and digital brand experience
Excellent communication in English for client and team engagement
Advanced proficiency with Figma and AI-enabled design workflows
Experience using image generation and creative AI tools
Strong understanding of interaction design and user-centered design methodologies
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines
Applicants must be located in Ontario or Québec provinces

Create and execute highly polished visual design concepts and campaigns aligned with client objectives
Design digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms
Translate brand expression into scalable digital experiences and user interfaces
Craft and present high-fidelity design concepts, prototypes, and creative directions
Participate in workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques
Develop interactive prototypes and motion studies using Figma
Create and contribute to design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines
Apply accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles
Collaborate with UX designers, strategists, copywriters, and developers
Partner with development teams to ensure design intent is preserved
Maintain high standards of design quality and client engagement
Stay current with emerging design methodologies and AI-enabled workflows
Support and mentor junior designers through feedback and collaboration

Full-time position with salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 CAD annually
