About this role

Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses on AWS. Architect data infrastructure using dbt, Airflow, and Terraform to power internal analytics and client-facing data products for a solar energy software platform.

Must have

Proficiency in SQL and Python

Proven experience as a data or platform engineer

Hands-on experience with AWS S3 IAM and related services

Experience with cloud-based data warehousing

Familiarity with transformation tooling such as dbt

Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform

Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT patterns

Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven architectures

Able to collaborate effectively within a small team

Comfortable working with some autonomy

Responsibilities

Architect optimize and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines data lakes and cloud data warehouses

Write clean transformation logic using dbt and manage workflow orchestration with Airflow

Maintain and evolve AWS-based messaging infrastructure for reliable high-throughput data ingestion

Design secure performant and well-documented data entry and consumption points such as S3 interfaces

Support scalable deployment using Terraform while maintaining least-privilege AWS IAM access

Collaborate cross-functionally to turn complex business needs into reusable self-serve platform solutions

Participate in code reviews and document data architectures and workflows
