About this role
Lead SAP platform architecture and administration for Slate's automotive business. Design resilient SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure. Drive high-availability configurations, security remediation, and major upgrades while enabling business value delivery.
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
10+ years hands-on SAP Basis administration experience with architect or lead capacity
Proven experience with full life-cycle SAP implementations and large-scale migrations
Strong expertise across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver ABAP/Java, and Solution Manager
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services including Integration Suite CPI, SAC, Datasphere
Strong database administration skills across HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle
Experience designing high-availability clusters with SUSE HAWK and Windows Failover Cluster
Hands-on experience with SWPM and SUM for installs, copies, upgrades, and migrations
Experience migrating SAP workloads to AWS and/or Azure
Working knowledge of SAP security, vulnerability remediation, SSO/MFA, and audit compliance
Proficiency across SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and AIX operating systems

Responsibilities
Design, architect, and size complete SAP landscapes including HA and disaster recovery
Lead greenfield implementations including SAP RISE deployments with scalable architecture
Plan and execute major S/4HANA version-to-version upgrades with minimal disruption
Install S/4HANA, HANA, and NetWeaver systems applying patches and SAP Notes
Manage complex SAP landscapes in AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Build and configure SAP BTP landscape including Integration Suite, SAC, Datasphere
Configure SSO and MFA integrations across BTP subaccounts with IAS and Okta
Architect HA clusters using SUSE HAWK and Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager
Administer and tune HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle databases including patching and upgrades
Remediate high and critical security vulnerabilities collaborating with cyber security teams
Configure and maintain Cloud ALM with technical monitoring and Early Watch reporting
Manage system refreshes, client copies, and transport management across landscape
Provide Basis administration support, performance monitoring, tuning, and problem resolution
Manage maintenance windows and production changes including break-fixes and updates
Collaborate with development, functional, security, audit, and infrastructure teams
