About this role
Censys is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their SOC/TH team focused on AI and LLMs. You'll build AI-powered investigation workflows, develop RAG pipelines, and create intelligent features that help security analysts identify and monitor malicious infrastructure at internet scale.
Must have
5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years building and scaling AI-powered user-facing features
Strong proficiency in Python for backend and API services development
Familiarity with RAG evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS and LangSmith
Ability to rapidly prototype and validate AI features in fast-paced environment
Prior knowledge in prompt engineering improving LLM accuracy and reasoning
Understanding secure and responsible AI practices and implementing guardrails
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation for AI applications

Rapidly prototype and deploy AI-powered features to enhance search and automate workflows
Apply machine learning to streamline workflows and personalize experiences
Develop and fine-tune LLMs and RAG pipelines to reason over Internet-scale data
Build scale and maintain AI-driven analytics and automation systems
Collaborate with frontend product and data engineering teams to integrate AI-native experiences
Continuously evaluate and improve model performance through RAGAS LangSmith and automated testing

High cost of living areas salary range is 179000 USD to 201000 USD
All other locations salary range is 148000 USD to 192000 USD
