About this role
Lead QA efforts for core software applications at Eleven, designing and executing automated and manual testing strategies for backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines. You'll work with AWS infrastructure, relational databases, and AI-powered testing tools in a fast-paced remote environment.
Must have
8+ years of professional software QA engineering experience with test automation and backend validation
Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
Experience writing, testing, and debugging PHP backend code
Hands-on experience testing workloads on AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM
High proficiency with relational databases using T-SQL including queries, stored procedures, and joins
Experience validating telemetry or index structures in OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
Advanced mastery of RESTful API contracts and tools like Postman or SoapUI

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks for backend systems and network integrations
Lead end-to-end testing of RESTful APIs, third-party API integrations, and secure network communication workflows
Ensure cloud architectures on AWS run flawlessly by testing EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB deployments
Validate strict adherence to AWS IAM policies and security groups
Formulate and execute rigorous T-SQL scripts to validate relational database schemas and data mutations
Manage and test search and indexing layers built on OpenSearch
Incorporate generative AI technologies to auto-generate mock data and optimize test script writing
Identify, document, isolate, and track bugs through Jira or Azure DevOps with deep technical insights
