Mercury seeks a Senior Product Designer to join their Cards & Credit team, crafting simple and intuitive experiences from complex financial systems. You'll own product problems end-to-end, working across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping to help startups spend less time banking and more time building.
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft
Ability to understand complicated systems and turn them into simple, thoughtful product experiences

Turn complicated systems, requirements, and edge cases into simple, intuitive experiences
Work across entire design stack from problem framing to final implementation
Explore broadly and design from first principles, questioning inherited patterns
Bring high level of interaction and visual craft to Cards & Credit experience
Collaborate with Brand team on physical cards and related products
Develop deep understanding of customers and work through tradeoffs with partners
No background in banking, fintech, cards, or credit required
