About this role

Design and build a next-generation reliability platform for Affirm's production systems, blending distributed systems engineering with AI-assisted development. Lead backend development using Python, Kotlin, AWS, and Kubernetes while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.

Must have

4+ years of experience as a software engineer

Experience designing and developing backend systems at scale

Proficiency with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes

Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue
