About this role
Build bank-to-bank payment systems at NMI using Scala, TypeScript, and C# on AWS. Work AI-first with tools like Claude Code in a containerized microservices environment. Own features end-to-end across public APIs, internal tools, and third-party integrations.
Must have
Strong grasp of programming languages, techniques, security, and architecture
Ability to take ownership of assigned work and complete it without close oversight
Experience with AI-first coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot
Experience mentoring and participating in code reviews
4+ years developing applications with object-oriented or functional languages
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4+ years equivalent experience
