About this role
Set the technical vision and strategy for PointClickCare's machine learning platform powering ML and generative AI development. Define reference architectures, standards, and roadmap for pipelines, tooling, and infrastructure used for model training, deployment, serving, and monitoring across the organization.
Must have
Expert level in Python and Java with strong software engineering fundamentals
Deep experience designing and building ML platforms and MLOps workflows at scale
Extensive experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure and/or GCP
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Demonstrated track record of setting technical direction across multiple teams

Translate business and product objectives into multi-quarter technical strategy and roadmap for ML platform
Define reference architectures and standards for scalable data and ML pipelines
Set direction and best practices for MLOps including CI/CD for models and feature stores
Establish practices for reliability observability and performance of ML systems in production
Establish security architecture for ML platform including authentication and access control
Define secure cost-efficient integration patterns for connecting platform with existing systems
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams
Recruitment process
Serves as product owner for machine learning platform capabilities within PointClickCare
Works closely with other engineering teams to identify build and support traditional ML and hybrid ML/LLM solutions
Partners with Product and Engineering leadership to align technical direction with business goals
Preferred familiarity with Azure Machine Learning components and Databricks processing environments
Preferred experience optimizing large model training and inference including LLM serving
