Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects end-to-end
Hands-on Kafka or event streaming experience in production
ORM framework or platform layer experience

Strong AWS background including IAM, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, multi-region
Infrastructure-as-code and GitOps deployment experience

Set technical direction for SRS sub-areas and architecture standards
Assess SRS cloud platform needs at scale and drive roadmap to close gaps
Own and improve fleet-wide operations including capacity and monitoring
Create best practices and health models for the database fleet
Build network of storage champions across engineering groups
Own reliability including monitoring, runbooks, and on-call response
Partner with SRS leadership across managed database, DevEx, and data warehousing
Drive migration and schema lifecycle initiatives across the fleet
Mentor P2 and P3 engineers and conduct design and code reviews
Represent SRS technical requirements in cross-org forums
Provide tactical leadership during production emergencies
