About this role
Lead the Product organization within R&D at NorthStar, a Harris division, building and maturing the product operating system across a portfolio including CIS7, customer portal, and mobile workforce management. You'll coach a team of five product professionals while driving product judgment, outcomes, and cross-functional trust in this remote role with ~20% travel.
Must have
10+ years in Product Management including 5+ leading Product teams
Track record of shipping products customers actually value
Experience building or maturing a Product operating model in a scaling organization
Strong product instincts with ability to distinguish good bets from bad ones
Executive communication and ability to influence without authority
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
Current valid passport and legal eligibility for international travel
Ability to work in EST timezone preferred

Lead customer discovery and validate problems before committing engineering resources
Define success metrics up front and measure realized value after release
Set the standard for well-reasoned product decisions at NorthStar
Design and implement intake discovery prioritization roadmap and governance processes
Coach five product professionals into strategic product leaders
Establish clear roles and accountability across the product team
Build a culture of ownership curiosity and customer focus
Partner with Engineering Professional Services Sales Support and executive leadership
Improve forecast accuracy and communicate roadmap decisions clearly
Travel approximately 20% including monthly trips to Ottawa and periodic customer site visits
