About this role

Senior product manager leading all aspects of a product line for electric transmission and large load generation programs. Focuses on UX-driven product development, strategic vision, and cross-functional coordination with utilities and energy stakeholders.

Must have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience

8+ years of relevant technical experience

Minimum 3 years hands-on experience supporting or managing assigned products and services

Experience working within utility, energy, communication, high tech, or aerospace company

Demonstrated in-depth technical expertise in assigned technology areas

Demonstrated experience in product design, build, and test

Demonstrated experience working in regulatory or compliance environment

Demonstrated experience in product and process innovation to reduce cycle time

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders in Electric Transmission to develop strategic vision for assigned products and services

Serve as Product Owner and Process Analyst for key solution supporting Large Load and Electric Transmission Generation programs

Understand industry trends, product positioning, key benefits, and target user groups

Collaborate with vendors, CAISO, and internal and external stakeholders to influence product capabilities and roadmaps

Research emerging technologies and market trends

Provide recommendations aligned with company's strategic goals, vision, and values

Evaluate products and services to ensure they meet business and technical requirements

Lead development of strategies and team efforts

Mentor other team members

Define platform product functionality from scope through implementation

Create executable product strategy with plans, timelines, milestones, and roadmaps

Develop and provide product training to sales channel and strategic customers

Work with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure product success with clients and customers
