Lead data science for growth at Shakepay, a Canadian bitcoin financial services platform. Drive experimentation, statistical analysis, and machine learning to improve acquisition, retention, and monetization for 1.5M+ users. Must have

8+ years experience in data science, growth analytics, or experimentation roles

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python

Deep understanding of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, and forecasting

Strong product and business intuition connecting user behavior to outcomes

Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, or product

Comfortable operating autonomously and driving ambiguous projects to execution

Strong communication skills and ability to influence decisions through data

Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with high attention to detail

Curiosity, speed, and bias toward action in fast-moving environments

Solid understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools

Partner with engineers and designers to improve acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization

Champion experimentation and decision frameworks for confident rapid iteration

Define KPIs and success metrics to align teams around measurable outcomes

Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to understand user behavior

Proactively identify high-leverage opportunities through analysis of user journeys and conversion funnels

Shape squad and company priorities with data-informed perspectives on impact and ROI

Build dashboards, models, and self-serve tools for growth visibility across the organization

Collaborate with the broader data team to maintain a shared consistent data layer

Foster a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making
